Praying for Jade Goody

I'm so sad to hear that Jade Goody's cancer has spread. I know many people back in the days of big brother found her irritable but i do think she has come along way since then.

I feel so sad for her, my children are around the same age as hers and it makes me so sad to think her babies may grow up without her.

I think its an important thing that all women are aware that it is important to have a cervical screening test. So we can help prevent it getting so far on.

I'll pray for Jade and her babies and hope she can make it through.

She has such a upbeat personality and you can see her kids mean the whole world to her, she never lost her roots through fame......She has made mistakes but jesus, most of us have,
I like her and have a friend that reminds me of her and always has since bb days.... They drive you nuts, but life wouldnt be the same without them.....

I lost a large protion of my cervix last year due to having CIN3 I have been for 4 checks over this last year & don't have to back for another year, then one a year for the next 10 years.

These services are here to save lives, as horrible as it is to have done.

I am sending my thoughts and prayers. No one deserves this and I bet she is finding it tough, being in the press as well.

I really like her, and think she is showing how strong she is, I just HOPE she will be ok, and that she WILL get better.

It doesn't look too hopeful..they are talking about prolonging her life rather than curing her now. What a terrible tragedy at such a young age.

My children are of a similar age and I just can't imagine facing the prospect of leaving them behind, she quite clearly adores her children.

I know she has been slated for being in the media a lot for discussing her cancer but if I was her I would be doing the same, firstly to raise awareness and encourage other women to get themselves checked out and secondly because I would be making sure I was leaving my children financially secure.

I have to be honest I don't 'do' reality TV because I find it boring, and I certainly never cared either way about Jade Goody.

That said, after reading about it on the BBC website, I find it deeply saddening, and I certainly wish her well. Prayers are certainly with her

It's so sad. I think she's done evrything to give her sons a better upbringing than she had. Now it looks as though they're going to lose her. Thanks God their dad seems a god bloke and a loving father. I really hope that a miracle happens. xx

You know, like a lot of people I have made so many stupid mistakes in my past and done so many things that I am just not proud of at all. Mistakes that I hope and pray my children never ever make, and to be honest probably not a week goes past when I don't regret something I say or do. Fortunately, most of the time its just my conscience that hurts and suffers and most of the time I have the chance to say sorry privately, as lucky for me I am a no one that is not in the public eye. I am sure given the chance we would all like to change mistakes we have made and turn back time.

Jade's terrible illness is very sad and tragic, but I thank Jade Goody for making her very public mistakes because if she was not so controversal and in the public eye, it would not be talked about so much at the moment. So I hope we don't think of Jade just for BB mishaps but as a brave and loving young Mum who raised awareness for the need for regular screening for cervical cancer. Watching someone you love suffer with cancer changes your life forever and if there is the slightest possibility it could be prevented then why should it not be talked about openly.

At the end of the day reality TV is only there because there is public demand for it. For Jade, her children and her family it is so very, very sad and I wish her all the very best and my prayers are with them all. xx

I have always liked Jade tho I never watched BB, It's so sad someone so young and with young children has to go through this. I hope all the publicity helps other young women realise they need to be checked regularly.
And yes Emma I mean you too.
I had cin3 a few years ago and had 3 years of treatment and 10 years in total of very close checks... In the end I still had to have a hysterectomy. Women of all ages really need to stay on top of their check ups :hug:

Me and my partner have different views on this. He isnt bothered as he just finds her irritating and annoying and only famous off the back of reality TV, which is true.

I have to admit I loved her from day one, and no matter what she has or hasnt done she dosnt deserve this. As I said to my partner love her or hate her it would be interesting to know how many lives she has saved by allowing the media free access to her pain.

She isnt just a reality TV star, she did try to run her own salon and go to beauty college, all to try better her life and get out the limelight. Unfortunetly its the british publics sheer fascination that has made her one of the wealthiest people to ever cone from BB. And by allowing us this she has highlighted an area where so many of us fear to tread. I know my doc as a young woman had to pin me to the bed to get a smear done. Now I know its nothing, its straight forward, its not embarrasing and it could save my life.

its a shame though that breast cancer is more in the limelight than cervical cancer. They should both be in the same bracket. Both caught early through simple tests will save a life.

I hope Jade has many more months to live to spend with her gorgeous boys, and I hope her a pain free and beautiful wedding. My heart is with her. I hope she realises that her death will never be in vain as she may have saved others.

I watched Jade's new programme last night and it was so sad.

I watched in BB and although she was annoying there was something very likeable about her. I say good for her for making her life better with the media. She seem like a really good mum, she doesn't have nannies and housekeepers like most celebrities and she is very down to earth, she likes nice things like most of us.

I feel so sad for her having all this at such a young age.

We should all stop moaning about aches and pains and think how lucky we are.
