I need to book some courses with Kim Lawless!
Was also thinking of salon management at my local college...
Why not i am sure you woul be great,go for it:hug:

As for moi, well i am anticipating some skill building in brisa, and want to learn more about custom blending with brisa, and mixing colours.Oh,and maybe some mentoring in the new CND colours and effects,to get my enthusiasm going!

I am also going to learn egyptian massage of the face, hands and feet,so i will be able to incorporate this as an indulgent treat with manicures pedicures and facials.:) I have always been fascinated with egyptology.....

I am also undertaking a level spanish,i completed my gcse....i have just done that for pleasure,we live so close to spain,Barcelona is only a drive away, and a new language can always come in handy:wink2:

September will hopefully see me start my VTCT Manicure and VTCT Health and Safety. February will then see me start VCTC NAil enhancements/extensions and some time in between will see me start my CND L&P ( hopefully with Brisa also) :)

I am also contemplating furthering my adult psychology diploma that I passed 2 years ago with a home degree specialising in forensic psychology :) Depends on how funds go though as it is still very expensive at around £5000 per module! I can knock 1.5 modules off though because of my scores in my diploma :)

I'm wax training with Kim in September in Cardiff. Very excited, can't wait!

I've enrolled to do Indian Head Massage in September, which I'm really looking forward to. A couple of the facials and mani/pedi's that I already do involve a head massage, so I'd like to know that I'm doing it properly. I'm also hoping to do start studying reflexology in January. For the first time ever I'm actually enjoying studying!!

Hi, I'm training with Kim in October and can't wait, keep looking into Reflexology but can't decide whether to do the vtct at college or go for the AOR (ABC) course? Thought about starting out with the college course and if I find it ok maybe do the bridging course! Loads of things I want to do! Just paying for them all xx

Hi, I'm taking my first steps into the world of nails. Am going to do Manicure & Pedicure with Creative in Edinburgh, hopefully next month. I'm also enrolling at the local FE College to do VCTC Level 2 Nail Tech one evening per week. I'd also like to take a course in Facials and one in Indian Head Massage, but it's finding something suitable (and some money to pay for them all would be good!!)

Whats fredding?
And whats your new company?

Threading!
The new company is still under wraps for the time being until I get it all protected. Rest assured that I'll be shouting about it soon enough, and then you'll wish you'd never asked!

I would like to see if reiki would be my thing

I am currently doing both my CND Masters which finishes 1st Nov. Starting my A1/A2 assessors/verifiers qualifications 21 Oct. Also doing Anatomy & Physiology and Reflexology at the same time!

So many thoughts and ideas in my head!

I am going back to Susan Molyneux in Sept to re-do my facial training with them, just for a bit of re-inspiration, keep my hand in with facials and so forth.

I am also booked to do a Spa Mani/Pedi conversion with CND, I think that's in November.

Would also like to do facial rejuvenation massage with Gateway, and advanced electrolysis with Sterex.

Also want to start my new floatation business, and become a student of my pranic healer, as I really rate him, and it. (It's a type of energy healing.) BUT Dave not keen on either of these, thinks I have my hands full with Berins etc  He may be right

Am also going to do a bit of teaching, freelance via an existing academy and my first student is booked in - Gelly! For facials, brow and lash tinting and brazilian waxing. So, really looking forward to that. BUT we must knuckle down and work though, not spend all day gossiping

Blimey Zoe!!! Just how many hours do you have in one of your days? I only have 24 in mine!:lol:

btw congratulations and good luck with Berins.

Im working full time, beauty part time, and studying my bsc hons in international spa management, last short course was spray tanning and have a massive list on what to do next, including threading, airbase makeup, lava shells oh so many but am also having a new bathroom fitted so its all a case of time and the big one moulah! :irked:

Has anyone else noticed the lack of part time courses on offer this year at local colleges?

I was going to do an NVQ 2 in hair but as my local college aren't running the course I am going to do some more nail training and possibly do a waxing course with kim (funds permitting)

i'm itching to learn too!
i'm doing my nvq 2 beauty therapy intensive and nvq 3 nail services part time at college,
and i was going to do hairdressing, and face & body painting aswell but i'll have to wait for next year because i couldn't afford the kit and exam fees or attend at the awkward times!
i'm sure college fees and kit fees are getting more expensive every year!

I am hoping to do a spray tanning course in September and then Gel and Acrylic nails in October with a view to going mobile part time :green: I found two training academies in Cardiff which offer all three so I'm just gathering some more info on these at the moment.
Also starting a p.time degree in October in Ancient History and Classical Civilisation. Am going to be a busy bee over the next few months!

i am going to enroll nxt week for pt body massage and also pt cosmetic make up course i can not wait to get back to collage. also want to day a short course in spray tan sumwer in the nxt couple of months as i already have my equiptment so am itching to use it xx
