I have never ever had a valentines gift.. honest.. and always thought it was a bit naff.. but when my Vin gave me a bottle of bubbly this morning, and finaly let me peek in the shopping bag marked KEEP OUT in the fridge, well lets just say my opinions changed a bit!!

True love really does happen.. It can come in the wierdest package and when you least expect it.. but when it comes its worth the wait and absolutely wonderful!

((now gush time is over.. i will get to my point))

whad'ya get? did'ja get anything for the mrs/mr.. any suprises.. letdowns? Im positive im not the only one with a romantic softie.. BTW I got him nothing!!!
but then i warned him i wouldnt so... (better nick off to the booze shop and pick him up some beer)

We arent on the 14th yet, but I know what he's bought me, because I mithered him until he told me haha, also I guessed, by accident, what he'd put in my card....

He's got me a Necklace i have wanted for ages, a fabric rose and a large stuffed elephant holding a heart! He said he will make me breakfast in bed as he will be working valentines night, but I bet he will oversleep lol.

I'm spoilt.

i am enjoying it so far, coffee in bed.. excitement at things to come.. thing is im not the best at the gushy stuff.. so i cant keep a straight face!
The best thing has been the fact that my children have been able to witness their mum get spoilt with love and kindness.. :o:Love:

Well. It's still valentines eve for a while yet..
BUT my fella gave me my pressies tonight!! I've had some gorgeous big lillies (my fave!) , a lovely teddy bear that we have called Freddie, and a yummy botle of wine!

We are going for a nice meal on saturday instead of tomorrow so we have that to look forward to without having to get up for work the next day!

There'll be no ,meal out and Bailey will be home but i don't really do valentines anyway,so that's made my day (even if he did wake me clonking about geting ready for work ) lol

Now I have a real life husband, he's here (well, he's at work but you know what I mean), he loves me, we've been married 16 years........ BUT I wont even get a card!!! But, being honest, I don't need it - I know he loves me and I love him.

In fact, I've got a client tonight so wont be home til 8pm anyway!!!!!! I think I might bring Valentine Fish & Chips home with me - is that romantic enough, lol??!!!

I woke to find a card wrapped in kitchen roll (instead of an envelope) with the words "long Story" written on it !!!

But the card itself was lovely....just cant wait to hear this long story...:lol:


EDIT...he has just rang and said he brought the card but forgot to pick up an envelope from behind .... :lol: ... but last night i was at a regular clients house and we both love cappuccinos and when she comes to me Rob makes them.....i had been there about an hour when there is a knock at her door (she lives about 10 houses down from me) .... there on the doorstep were 2 cups of cappuccinos with a note saying ..."all because the lady loves cappuccinos"....bless

well I got a heart shaped vase with roses in it and a mushy card, I thought this was lovely and then our little boy announced there was indeed another present but it had not arrived..:lol: I am also having a meal cooked tonight to!! Wooooo!!!

Incidentally I went for the non romantic option and bought Claire the cheesiest card on the shelf and a cd I knew she would like!!!

I never fail to get irked at the lack of "pc" correct cards, plenty of them "to my girlfriend" but all with pics of boys on etc!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

No card for me, not that i expected one...OH says they are a waste of money BUT i did get at 6.30am.....

Champers in bed with a huge box of thorntons chocies and a bunch of red roses Im now wondering what i have to give in return :lol:

I usually get a bunch of flowers or small box of chocies so was totaly surprised and a lovely one at that. Made me realise that after a sh!ty night of threats from gemma and text from her mother that i am appreciated and loved and not all people around me are b*$%@"^s
