I'm going to a wedding reception on Saturday.
It's at quite a posh (but casual) venue.

I am somewhat renowned for being a bit of an entertainer/joker.

What I would like to to is buy a set of very cheap wine glasses in the box, wrap it absolutely beautiful (all in white) with a huge bow and put it in a Versace gift bag.

Walk past the restaurant (everyone sat outside) Tim & I will be wearing matching white suits (pale spearmint t-shirts with matching sunglasses and shoes) .... Think Miami Vice meets men in black (only in white). I'd imagine everyone will notice us..... when we are called over I intend to accidentally trip up, the box goes flying and the sound of smashing glass should be quite dramatic.......

I'd imagine it will create quite a scene of horror, humor and obviously those lost for words.

After a few minutes I will present them with a card saying " Sorry about the accident .... Congratulations" !!!!

We have also been told not to bring gifts .... just to add, my partner knows nothing of what I am going to do, it will be just as shocking for him !!!!!

The Bride & Groom are extremely good sports with a very good sense of humor (to a certain degree they will be expecting some kind of stunt).

Good idea or no ?

Oh yesssssssssssssssssssssss :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yes, yes and yes :lol:

Well I'm sure the correct answer is absolutely no way but as its the kind of thing I would think is funny if done to me I'd yes too. I'm assuming you know the happy couples humour to know if it would make them laugh...............

I think i would find that very funny!!!!!!

Brilliant!:green:

Let us know how it goes.

It would be great...if one bottle didn't smash so that the Happy Couple could smash it over your head!!!! :lol:

Can't wait to see it on You Tube...!!!!!

Sounds like a really funny idea to me Carl...can you get a friend to video it from across the street or from behind a tree or something??:lol:

Apart from the fact it'd be great veiwing, I like the sound of you two wearing the white & peppermint outfits. Very smart, don't forget - no socks though for the cool look (I don't mean weather either!) Will they be linen suits?

PMSL, hilarious!! Classic! DO IT!!:lol:

Really cruel..I love it:lol:

If they can take a joke, do it. I'd think it was funny.

What a fantastic idea.......could you video for us crazy lot ????......this would be such a belly laugh !!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

:) sounds ace! I would love to see the matching white suits too.

do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it!!!!!

:lol::lol:

I think it's fantatic. Please please video.

yea yes yes but we need a video:hug:

You know these people better than anyone and if you think they will like it then do it....personally i would wet myself laughing if this happened at a wedding i was attending...:lol:

I always said if Rob and I married i would do 1 of 2 things....

With a heavy veil send my mum up the isle to surprise him when he removes the veil.........or keep my mouth closed till we are face to face...give him a huge smile with one of my front teach blacked out......:lol:

Best wedding gag i did see was when they where doing the speach....the best man turned to the bride and said..."well Donna, your a married woman now so i had better give this back"....and handed her a front door key....everyone laughed....then another male guest walked over and said..."here, you'd better have mine back too"....and another...etc....she ended up with 15 front door keys in front of her and a rather worried looking new husband....PMSL

Have a great time nail zoo. x
