Have any of you seen today's Mail on Sunday?

There is a 'buff and tell' piece on Heather Mills-McCartney by her manicurist for goodness sake!

The piece is actually laughable in its less than 'expose' type content. e.g. "the house was a bit untidy" or "she never fed me but I always had a cup of tea with soya milk"

Well, Ms xxxxx if you belong to this forum perhaps you'd like to explain your motives? Other than money and your picture in the paper, that is. Have you ever heard of client confidentiality or professionalism?

I hope the MOS has provided you with a good lawyer as your ex client is well practiced in suing. She may not take kindly to your comments on exercises with her trainer.

The parting comment in the piece was along the lines of she won't be missed as a client because she 'always kept me waiting and never apologised'! Shame!

Some people are not backward at name dropping but I hope this doesn't start a series of 'buff and tells' and our profession keeps some dignity

how cheap !

Lets not forget the rags who push for stories like these, wafting great wads of money in peoples faces and expert persuasion techniques.

Keep mouths tightly closed and your morals high !!!

Hence why i never read papers.

I hate the gossip so i watch the news, mind they can get just as bad with gossip at times.

It just goes to show what greed does to some people, personally i'd rather stay skint and keep my morals.

Shame on her!!!

Goodness they really are scraping the barrel to dish the dirt on this poor lady. I know she´s not Britain´s best-loved person at the moment, but come on! Why should she feed her? What does it matter if her house isn´t perfect? I hope this person was paid well, because I wouldn´t want her doing my nails that´s for sure and I´m sure many people will feel the same. I believe in client confidentiality and that it is just a part of what seperates the true professional from the rest.

it seems everyone jumps on the bandwagon doesnt it ! remember britneys hairdresser ??
i know i value my clients too much to treat them this way just to make a quick buck , its terrible
i am no fan of the lady but to have everyone coming out the woodwork is awful

Is she even real...???....i cant find anything anywhere with her name or business name....this could all just be more lies from the gutter press.

well if she is real, she should be ashamed of herself - one of the first things you learn in college is pro ethics!

I am so glad I'm not famous - I'd hate it

well if she is a member of a professional body, she should be sacked. when you sign up to a professional body, their are rules that you agree too. surely she has gone against this?

also, if I was her client, I would definetely take my business else where. but there are going to many other clients eager to take their place with the hope of hearing the gossip.

who IS she?

Who IS SHE?

In the words of Nicky off big brother

Name and shame

What goes around comes around - nasty piece of work.

Poor Heather

She'll be suing her next

I would never dish and tell, no matter how much money the client had. I think it is so unprofessional.

Have you all got the paper? Her name is all over it and her business card is printed on the top.

Absolute disgrace, I hope the rest of her clients take note of her unprofessional behaviour and find another technician. Plus I hope Heather Mills sues her a**e off.

Since its obviously no secret (as its printed all over the Mail on Sunday), her name is *******, her business is called *****and is located somewhere in the SE area. On her business card she describes herself as a "Mobile Nail Specialist". Full photos of her are also in the paper, so she certainly is real. I just can't get over how unprofessional she has been - shame on her.

Well I dont think this will do her business (or her boss's business) much good at all! I am sure most of the clients she has, (OR HAD!) will know who she is and if I were them I would loose the trust in her client confidentiality! Its not going to do her reputation much good!!:irked:

well instead of a public slating, lets just focus on the reasons why we shouldn't buff and tell....

Don't you think its her that's given the "public slating"?

Not good....talking about other clients in the salon, which does go on in some establishments is one thing but in a Sunday paper......and who was paying who anyways....whether she kept her waiting and the house was a bit untidy I bet she paid premium price, not £10 for a mini mani!

Here's the story on the MOS website..... *removed link*

The girl must of been paid well by the paper is all I can think, because nobody is going to be calling her anytime soon for any service, let alone nails.

Silly girl.

The 'celebrity' in question is not one of my favourite people, digger & gold in the same sentance, and was from day 1 if you ask me.

Good lord it wasn´t a little article was it? No wonder you were so cross Marion, I think it´s appalling. She IS a silly girl Bev, I bet the reporter really massaged her ego to get her to spill all that tittle tattle and now she looks nothing better than a gossip mongerer.

Has this woman never heard of client confidentiality? If she was my therapist I certainly wouldn't be wanting any more treatments from her!

I think the other thing is it reflects pretty badly on everyone else. How many other people are sitting wondering what their manicurist/tech says to who about them? Grantedly most of us dont need to think about the press but I wouldn't like to think my tech would be gossiping about me or someone else to anyone!

The things people will do for money never ceases to amaze me

Heather is getting bad press from everywhere these days, poor thing

The thing is that some people are so shallow that this nail tech may now be busier than ever before, all because some saddo will want to hear all the gossip on Heather!
