Hairy men - your opinions please!

Dear Geeks,

I've been asked to write an article for a local newspaper on men's waxing, and as part of the process I'd like to pick your brains with a lighthearted and informal survey. The results will be collated and used as part of the overall article, plus I'd like to include them on my website if possible (no names will be included to protect the innocent, lol! ).

I'd be really grateful if you could take a few moments to share your thoughts about chaps and their hair, by answering the following questions. Hairy legs and a bit of stubble is my limit,allthough i have to say,i wouldn't like it if there was no hair in the nether regions,i would find that weird.

I contradict myself slighhtly but the above are personal preferences

Oh btw,hair on the belly musn't be a lot Just to sumarise i like a man to look like just that,not a boy or a gorrila :lol:

I personally wouldn't date an excessively hairy man BUT if a man is hairy it's his perogative whether to remove it or not.

A bit of chest hair is sexy but not too much and I can't stand a totally hairless man. On the other hand a man that is vain and removes everything is even more unattractive than hair.

I pluck bits of Chris' eyebrows and he trims his nose hair but other than that it's all good.

I like a bit of hair but definately not keen on excessive hair.Its ok on legs arms and chests,where it should be trimmed if long and fluffy.I think men should control their body hair we have had to for long enough.

Yes I am exactly the same as Becki,stubble may be ok but it scratches so would rather no kissing at this time,lol

I can put up with chest hair (as long as its light) but hairy back or nipples or anything else - yuk

I went out with a guy once that looked like a little gorilla, never seen such a hairy chest & back, was pretty disgusting tbh !

Until I met my fella I didn't like hairy men at all, now it doesn't bother me. So for me it is not so much the hair but the man its attached to.

Still don't like beards though - yak!

enjoyed that........just to add....armpits !!!...yes of course a man should have hair there but it should be trimmed a bit...same goes for the other bits.

Rob passed out once on the settee....i was bored....wondered what he'd look like with no hair on his chest...started to shave him...kept going... and going...got to his belly...kept going and going...didnt know where to stop as it kinda joins with the other....so gave him a nice neat little triangle...:lol:....ohh he loved me in the morning...:lol:

Hubbie has a really hairy back and ocassionaly when I pin him down (joking) he lets me immac it (mousse), I have threatend to bring him in your place to get it done but he's to body shy!

body hair is a fact of life on men and women. Some are hairier than most. While we accept that men will be hairier, it would be nice if more of them were attempting to keep it tidy and not let it run rampant. ALTHOUGH if my hubby ever took a razor to his pits are legs, I'd probably divorce him LOL
I think the new age of "metrosexuals" have it right.

Hubby is starting to get a hairy back like his bro... I am nagging him and nagging him to let me wax it. One time, he let me use a cream depillatory BUT his skin didn't react well to it and he won't let me do it again.
If he gets any hairier on his back, I will knock him out with a hammer, and wax him while he's unconcious:lol:
Otherwise, he's a very concious and tidy individual.

I also like if men keep "certain private areas" tidy, as we women do.

I think I've been a bit spoilt because my hubby isn't a very hairy man :green:
I don't think the amount of bodyhair a man had would put me off them romantically speaking, afterall it's not the hair you're interested in but the person underneath the hair lol
