Desk tidys from ikea

I've been meaning to share this with you for a few weeks now, but have jut managed to upload pic from my camera.

Anywhoo, was in Ikea a few weeks ago and saw this in the bathroom section. It comes in 2 parts. The first I used as my desk tidy and the second I use to store my powders.

The best thing it's only £4.00.

Cool, I love the powder tidy, that's a great idea.
I keep mine in my ikea drawers under my nail desk, but as I'm looking down on them, I don't know what they are, so I have had to put a sticker on the top of my CND pots. My EzFlow glitters & nail Graphix live in another drawer.

I used the acrylic desk tidy I got from Hyperion yonks ago. I have spilt acetone on it, so it always looks like it needs a good clean:irked:
The white one you have won't show the dust so much either!

LOL Emma, yes, the mesh draw is from IKea too, it was actually a desk set and had a matching magazine stand, mesh cup ( in 2 sizes) a business card holder, a waste paper basket and an extra little mesh tray. I got mine must be 6 years ago now.

I have the drawers BUT......I need all of the rest of it NOWWWWWW.
I am always so rushed in ikea...My feller huffs and puffs the whole time...so I bet I miss LOADS in there :cry:

And If I went by myself I would get lost in there

Not the draws em, although I did look at them. As my room is quite small I brought the mesh shelving instead. Again another bargin only £7 for the slim one and £8 for the wider version and they are great as the dont collect too much dust.

The other thing I got (and wish I got more at the time) is an acrylic napkin holder, which I will put my pricelists in, but at the mo, it holds a poster.

Muji is great , they have a good little box which would be grate to hold clients rings, when having a manicure.

Next time i'm near one of there shops i will buy it.

The best bargain I got from Ikea was the little hand towels which are perfect size for steam towels for facials and massages were 30p yes 30p!!! I was flabbergasted so bought 20 I was so excited!!! xx

I have the same desk tidy, my price lists are in the napkin holders(great value at a £1)
I got a great wooden bench for my waiting area that has strorage under the seat, some of my towels are from there. Also purchased loads of little plant pots, coloured bowls and glass. Ikea is great for salon storage, I always try to find cheaper stuff for my salon at none specialist shops.

Shop around girls and have fun finding bargins, you can save so much money and still look professional.
